LHHS Theater presents: "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be presented Nov. 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m., in the LHHS auditorium. Tickets may be purchased at Students and families are welcome!

First Quarter Award Ceremonies
The First Quarter Award Ceremonies will be held on Monday, November 13  in the gymnasium of Central:  8th grade is 9:30am, 7th grade is 1:15pm, 6th grade is 8:00 am.  Please park behind Central.  Looking forward to celebrating our students.
National Junior Honors Society
If you are interested in applying to be part of LHC NJHS, please read the following and see if you will be eligible. Applications to join will be available in Mrs. Pamulapati's room(165), starting Monday, November 3, 2017.
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes five different pillars which are; character, service,
scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.

The CC team is hosting a community event open to all walkers and runners Sun., Oct. 29 at 9 a.m., to raise money to support the program.

Michelle Lisy receives 2017 Leaders for Learning award
This award was created by the Licking County Foundation in 1993 to promote excellence in public education and honor exemplary teachers in our county. 
Licking Heights teachers recognized for workforce engagement through STEP
High school teachers Donna Chamberlain and Caitlin Roney, as well as middle school technology teacher Patricia Burkett, were recognized for their participation in the 2017 Summer Teacher Externship (STEP) program.

Licking Heights selects BSHM Architects to lead high school building project
Licking Heights Local Schools is pleased to announce the selection of BSHM Architects, who will lead the high school building project.

Battelle for Kids honors Central Middle School teacher
Battelle for Kids recognized Dolores Huey, a teacher from Central Middle School, as a distinguished educator for her tremendous impact on her students, colleagues, and community. 
ALL Interim reports and Report cards will be available on Progress Book as long as all fees are paid.
Immunizations required for incoming 7th and 12th graders
For the 2017-2018 school year, all incoming 7th and 12th grade students in Ohio schools must have proof that they have the age appropriate meningococcal vaccines.

Custodians Needed!
Licking Heights is looking for substitute Custodians. Days and hours will vary due to the need. If this is something that interests you, please call us at 740-927-6926 for more details. We pay $ 12.79 per hour.

Box Tops for Education
Just a reminder that we are still collecting Box Tops.  If you collect them, please send them to school with your children.  This is a great way for our schools to earn extra money to spend on your children.  
Parents' Guide to Student Success
This guide provides an overview of what your child will learn by the end of each grade in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  This guide is based on Ohio's New Learning Standards, including Common Core State Standards in both ELA and Mathematics.
