Skating Trip Now, not Zoo
The zoo trip that was planned for our students has been cancelled due to bus conflicts and time constraints. Students who are eligible will be going to United Skates of America to go skating instead of the zoo. The dates are as follows: 6th Grade will go on May 4th, 7th Grade will go on May 10th, and 8th Grade will go on May 9th. New permission slips will be sent home 4/20 and must be returned by 4/29.  
Physicals Offered for 2016-2017
Licking Heights Athletic Training is offering, through its partnership with OhioHealth, physicals for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year. Please see the attachments for details concerning times, addresses and general procedures.

New Immunizations required for incoming 7th and 12th graders
Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, all incoming 7th and 12th grade students in Ohio schools must have proof that they have the age appropriate meningococcal vaccines. Letters will be coming home with current 6th and 11th grade students with information about the new requirements.

Help Wanted!
How would you like to work for Licking Heights Transportation? We are looking for bus drivers. You would work while your child is in school and you would have the summers off. We will train you to drive. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please call us at 740-927-3340.  
Box Tops and Labels for Education
Just a reminder that we are still collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education.  If you collect them, please send them to school with your children.  This is a great way for our schools to earn extra money to spend on your children.  
Parents' Guide to Student Success
This guide provides an overview of what your child will learn by the end of each grade in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  This guide is based on Ohio's New Learning Standards, including Common Core State Standards in both ELA and Mathematics.
