Model UN brings home big awards at the state competition
The Licking Heights High School Ohio Model United Nations Club attended their state conference from 11/29-12/1. Five teams representing the nations of Ghana, Dominican Republic, South Korea, Poland and Armenia debated global issues with students from around the state. 
Ms. Bezbatchenko and Spence Queen selected for the National History Day Experience
Licking Heights' teacher, Ms. Mary Bezbatchenko and student, Spencer Queen, have been selected to represent Ohio in the 2016 National History Day Experience in Normandy, France.  Click Here to see the official press release.

Licking Heights Senior Destinee Green Elected Ohio DECA President
After an intense state level election process, Licking Heights High School Senior Destinee Green was chosen DECA President for the State of Ohio. 
Licking Heights High School Scholarships
Seniors, log onto http://www.thelcfoundation.org/scholarships/ to apply for local scholarships.  The Licking County Foundation works with all high schools in Licking County to provide both school specific and general scholarships for students to apply.  The deadline for all applications is February 25th.  In addition, the LHEA offers two memorial scholarships each year; the David Kass and Janice Van Gundy Memorial Scholarships.  Finally, the LHESPA offers a Cancer Crusader Scholarship.  Please visit the counseling office for applications.
