LH Student Named National Hispanic Scholar
Congratulations to Jose "Carlito" Ortiz for achieving the status of a National Hispanic Scholar. Carlito was invited to the College Board's prestigious National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) because he scored in the top 2.5% among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT 2015 test takers in the region. The NHRP program is an academic honor that Carlito plans to include in his college applications. The NHRP is well known by colleges as a way to identify academically exceptional Hispanic and Latino students. Carlito is enjoying his senior year so far at Licking Heights and is beginning the process of applying to colleges and exploring majors to pursue."
