Brandi Wade is serving the Licking Heights School District in the role of District Literacy Coach for the 2017-2018 school year.
Mrs. Wade has been employed for the past 18 years in the district and has served in many different capacities. She has been a Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Teacher, an Assistant Elementary Principal and Lead Elementary Principal and now in the role of District Literacy Coach.
Mrs. Wade received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Middle Childhood Education for The Ohio State University, followed by two Master's Degrees, the first in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Scranton and the second from Concordia University in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Wade holds licenses for Elementary Teacher K-8th, Principal PK-6. She has been a past recipient of the Dow Excellence in Education Award and has been and is currently a featured master teacher in the college textbook An Introduction to Education: Choosing Your Teaching Path that is utilized in colleges and universities across the United States for pre-service teachers.
Mrs. Wade is a strong advocate for early learning, literacy and whole child development. She also rallies for Autism, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Alzheimer's causes. She has been married for 29 years and has two sons.
