Licking Heights Students Participate in C-TEC Signing Day
C-TEC Signing Day
Skills matter. Thanks to institutions like Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County (C-TEC), students from local school districts have the opportunity to earn the credentials they need for career success through apprenticeship programs–all while completing their high school diploma.

On Wednesday, April 19, 52 Licking Heights students participated in C-TEC’s Signing Day. This is an annual event where high school students accepted to C-TEC for the completion of their high school education officially sign their offer letters, meet with teachers and tour the school.

After completing their sophomore year in their home district, these students will spend their junior and senior year at C-TEC earning the remainder of their high school credits while also earning the appropriate certifications needed for their trade of choice. C-TEC currently offers 20 different secondary programs ranging from culinary arts to automotive technologies to healthcare.
